Things are moving along. Last month was still full of plans we made before we even considered buying a house. One of it was that I went to a conference in Berlin and during a free evening I met Janis for dinner.
One thing I LOVE about Berlin is the food. There are just so many really good spots to eat.
I also love visiting Dussmann at Friedrichsstr. (a big book store, which has also an international book section).
Besides all the traveling that happened we recently started sleeping more and more at the house. What started out as a “lets camp in the back yard to safe on commuting” turned into more and more stuff gets brought over and we pretty much stay at the house – with the occasional stay at the flat to have Internet or just to chill for a bit. One of the most beautiful things about it are the sunsets almost every night. I hope I will never take them for granted.
It´s been good for me to have a really slow transition and to let it all naturally progress instead of needing to make a thousand decisions on when we want to move. It´s been also hard. It has taken every ounce of energy I have to not loose it all in the mess that is a construction side and the ever changing things around me. Every now and then I take a break back at our flat but its starting to also not feel like home anymore -which is good because I love our house but the inbetween state is so hard. It´s breaking me open and forcing me to find my inner balance despite any outside circumstances which is good but man its freaking hard and sometimes I just want to loose it and crawl into bed.
It will be another 3 weeks before we have Internet at the house but I will try to keep up with blogging!
Lots of love!
