I could go two ways – total opposite ways to say the least – with this. Which probably characterizes me pretty good 😉
Sleep all day! And by all day I pretty much mean all day 😀 Albrecht would say I don´t do mornings but to be honest sometimes I don´t do noon (and afternoon for that matter) either haha. Sometimes I don´t leave my bed before 4 in the afternoon and I LOVE IT!! For some reason, and it has been that way for as long as I can remember, I enjoy staying up really late und more so sleeping in. And if I decide to leave my bed I also like to just lie around and read. Which is like the most anti-social think to do but thats just what I crave and need sometimes. Me, my bed and sleep.
Just as exciting as Option No. 1 but TOTALLY different.
I LOVE being organized and productive. Who doesnt? But I also love the process of figuring out how to be the most organized and productive. A while ago I read a book “The School of Greatness” by Lewis Howes and it really inspired me.
It talks about all sort of things that help you live out your full potential and be great. Becoming great as a human being but also becoming great at your job etc..
The whole book was really good and inspiring but the first chapter I really took to heart. It talked about creating a vision for your life and one exercise was to write down our perfect day. Your everyday-day is the most important tool to bring anything to life. My goal was to connect:
- being/working with awesome individuals and always learning
- my longterm life goals
- Fitness and Sport
- time for family and friends
It looked like this:
Everythings is given an exact time slot, even breakfast and getting ready. That way I was never wondering what to do when or distracted doing something else because everything had its time. Getting up late and staying up late was due to the fact that I went to school from 5-9:30 pm
Also my best day!
At a time where my day was mostly not structured by outside things this really helped to be organized and productive while not missing the longterm goal in my every day life.
Now as I´m transitioning into a situation where most of my day is defined by uni schedules I think more in regards of blocks in my day that I fill intentionally with certain things.
Day (8 am-5pm): University
Evening (6-10 pm): work on projects, be active if I haven´t done any sport in the morning, eat supper with Albrecht and chill. Be tired at the end of the day and go to bed early!´
Wishing you the best day ever!
